Sheriff Morris A. Young will spend the day in the Sawdust Community to hear concerns.

The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office will be on the move and functioning as a full service law enforcement organization in the Sawdust Community on Thursday October 5th, 2006. Sheriff Morris A. Young and staff will setup a mobile office in the Sawdust Park providing activities for children and enforcement within the community. Sheriff Young states, "Every aspect of law enforcement will be in Sawdust on that day and we will function as a full service law enforcement agency in Sawdust. Division such as patrol, investigations, traffic and D.U.I enforcement, crime prevention, community justice and our Vice & Narcotics Unit will be on hand."

This is a precursor to similar activities that the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office will conduct in every community and city within Gadsden County. The community is invited to come out and talk with Sheriff Young and staff to discuss community issues and ways to resolve them.
