Mock's body was discovered in a creek off State Road 159, near Midway on March 17, 2000. "She was wearing a navy blue tee-shirt with the word "horseshoe" and some sort of emblem on the front left side. She lived in Tallahassee, Midway, Havana and people knew her. In Tallahassee, she could be seen a lot around Alabama and Georgia Streets. Mock's body had been in the water between 24 and 48 hours. Authorities later learned she died from blunt trauma to the head. There is still a reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Wanda's death.
